Our Vision
At VISIE, we believe that creativity is the foundation of meaningful teaching and learning. Our online professional development workshops engage both generalist and art educators in critical thinking, reflection, and experiential learning through discussion-rich, hands-on, art-centered experiences. Workshops are intentionally limited to 20 participants, creating space for meaningful interactions. Grounded in our belief that you are a creative professional, our programs invite you to integrate imaginative approaches across the curriculum, using the potential of art to inspire curiosity, deepen understanding, and achieve your educational goals.

Workshop Offerings

Arts
Our Arts workshops provide educators with thoughtful, practical ways to integrate visual arts into their teaching practice, enhancing student engagement and creativity. Each session focuses on a specific artistic medium—using accessible materials—and offers opportunities to discuss works of art and reflect through writing. Whether building new skills or revisiting familiar ones from a fresh perspective, educators leave with effective approaches to enrich classroom learning.

Integration
Our Integration workshops demonstrate how artistic practices can enrich dialogue in language arts, build on concepts in mathematics, foster citizenship, and illuminate historical and cultural understanding in the social sciences—enabling educators to create engaging experiences that promote critical thinking and collaboration. By embracing cross-curricular learning through the visual arts, educators help students make meaningful connections across disciplines and see how their learning applies to real-life experiences.

Support
Our workshops are just the starting point. Educators can receive ongoing support through follow-up check-ins, expert guidance, and curated resources—ensuring they are equipped to bring creative teaching strategies into their classrooms.
